How to Check What's Inside Your PC (Windows 10 & 11)

1. Check Your Processor (CPU)

• Click the Start button (bottom-left corner).
• Type About your PC and click it when it appears.
• Look for Processor – it tells you the type of chip your computer uses.

2. Check Your Memory (RAM)

• In the same About your PC window.
• Look for Installed RAM – this tells you how much memory you have (like 8 GB or 16 GB).

3. Check Your Hard Drive Type and Size (SSD or HDD)

• Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
• Click the Performance tab at the top. (If you don't see tabs, click "More details" first.)
• On the left side, click Disk 0 (or Disk 1 if there are more).
• In the top-right, you'll see:
  • If it's an SSD or HDD
  • The size of the drive (look for something like "237 GB" or "931 GB")
  • Due to the way storage size is cacluated, you may have to round up to find the correct advertized size ("237 GB" to "256 GB", "931 GB" to "1 TB")
  • If you can't find the exact storage size just choose the closest match
